Looks like “TESA style” wrap because it works like a pro

BH IW is professional interior harness wrap designed for clean, OEM-style looms while reducing buzzes, rattles, and wiring movement inside panels and behind dashboards.

Shops often treat harness tape like a commodity. It is not. The difference shows up later, when a vehicle comes back with noise, a rubbed-through wire jacket, or a mystery intermittent issue. BH IW is built to reduce those problems and protect your shop’s reputation.

Most important benefit

Abrasion resistance. The last thing any shop wants is wiring insulation wearing through, getting cut, or pinched. BH IW adds another layer of protection that helps prevent shorts, failures, and worst-case scenarios.

Best use cases

Security and remote start
  • Looming alarm and security harnesses
  • Remote start and telematics wiring
  • Dash routing to avoid buzzing and rub points
  • Bundling and finishing behind radio cavities
Audio and amp integration
  • T-harness builds for speaker and signal runs
  • Speaker wire runs to amplifiers and amp racks
  • Securing wiring so it does not rattle in panels
  • Internal enclosure wiring to prevent wire slap noise
Anywhere you need protection + silence
  • Behind A-pillars and along interior trim edges
  • Under seats and through seat rails where abrasion happens
  • Anywhere wiring crosses metal or sharp plastic edges

Best practices

  1. Wrap with overlap. A consistent 30% to 50% overlap locks the loom and improves protection.
  2. Protect friction zones. Add extra wrap where harnesses pass through tight openings or near brackets.
  3. Secure branch points. Wrap transitions and splits so they do not separate or buzz later.
  4. Do not use the wrong tape. Match the wrap to the environment.
  5. Finish like OEM. Trim clean, press down ends, keep looms uniform.
Most important shop note

Use the correct Blackhole wrap for the correct application. Interior wrap is built for interior harness environments. For exterior or high exposure runs, use the exterior version.
