Your Brand.
Our Territory.
RPM is the 12-volt rep firm for Northern California and Northern Nevada. We sell what we know, activate the dealers who matter, and give your brand the sustained field presence it needs to grow.
Built for Brands That Take
Their Territory Seriously
Most rep firms move boxes. RPM moves markets. Here is what that difference looks like in practice for the brands we carry.
Deep Product Fluency
We do not hand out spec sheets and move on. We understand the technology at an installer level, which means we position your product correctly, handle objections on the floor, and train dealers in a way that sticks.
Dealer Activation, Not Just Coverage
Getting on a shelf is not the same as getting sold. RPM focuses on activating dealers through training visits, system-building tools, and consultative selling support that converts stocked product into consistent revenue.
Territory Intelligence
Our relationships run deep, not just wide. We know which dealers install, which ones retail, which accounts have growth potential, and where competitors are underperforming. That intelligence shapes every call we make.
Dealer-First Philosophy
We help shops succeed first and bring them the right products second. That approach earns trust that translates into loyalty for the brands we carry. Dealers do not just buy from us, they advocate for what we represent.
Content-Backed Selling
RPM builds and maintains dealer-facing digital tools, system configurators, and training content. Your brand benefits from an infrastructure most rep firms never build on their own.
Organized and Accountable
You will always know what is happening in your territory. We communicate proactively, track activity at the account level, and give you a clear picture without you having to chase us for it.

What Bringing a New Line
to RPM Actually Looks Like
We do not sign a line and disappear. Here is the process from first conversation to full territory activation.
An honest conversation about your brand, price tier, and distribution goals before anything is signed. If it is a strong fit, we will tell you why. If it is not the right time, we will tell you that too.
Full training with your team, hands-on time with the hardware, deep study of what sets you apart. We do not present a brand to dealers until we can sell it the way it deserves to be sold.
We identify which accounts in the territory fit your brand by volume tier, install capability, and product mix. We prioritize introductions that have a real path to revenue, not just a stocking order.
This is where most rep relationships break down and where ours holds. Training visits, in-store support, and sustained contact that turns a dealer who bought once into one who sells consistently.

What Dealers Say About
Working With RPM
The real measure of a rep firm is what happens after the sale. Here is what dealers across our territory have experienced when RPM is in their corner.
"Scott helped us build out a complete Arc Audio DSP system package — processor, amplifiers, and Arc subwoofers — that we could actually present to customers as a finished solution. Before that we were piecing things together and losing sales because it got too complicated. Now we have a system we can demo and sell confidently. The ticket average went up considerably."
"We had customers asking for OEM sound upgrades but we kept running into integration problems that made installs messy and time-consuming. Scott pointed us to Mosconi and walked us through how to position it for the OEM integration market specifically. It changed how we approach that conversation completely — cleaner installs, better margins, happier customers."
"OEM integration used to be our biggest headache — every vehicle was a different puzzle. Scott spent real time walking us through the Mobridge lineup and how to match product to application. That kind of specific, hands-on guidance is rare from a rep. We stopped losing OEM upgrade jobs to shops with more experience and started winning them."
"We had an audiophile customer who wanted a true 3-way active system and was not going to settle for anything that did not perform at a high level. Scott worked through the entire Gladen Aerospace build with us — component selection, crossover points, DSP tuning approach. The customer ended up referring two of his friends. That job would have been a long shot without RPM's involvement."
"We spec'd a wakeboard boat build with Wet Sounds that we thought was going to be a solid job. Scott pushed us to design it bigger than we initially planned and helped us understand the full potential of the system. When the customer heard it on the water for the first time he could not believe what we had put together. He sent us a video. That job generated more referrals than anything we have done."
"A customer brought in a Ford F-250 for a full upgrade and wanted to keep the factory interface. Scott walked us through using iDatalink Maestro to handle the OEM integration and pairing it with the Arc Audio X2800.8 as the DSP amp. It was a combination we had not tried before. The install went smooth, the customer got the sound quality he wanted, and we kept the factory functions intact. That is exactly the kind of support we need from a rep."
"We were losing remote start jobs because we were over-specifying the product and killing the deal on price. Scott helped us sort out which Compustar unit fit the customer's actual needs and which one was the right fit for our install workflow. We closed more jobs that week than we had the whole month before. Sometimes the rep who knows when to go simpler is worth more than one who just sells up."
"A customer came in wanting a BMW headunit upgrade and we honestly were not sure what the right answer was. Most of us had not done that specific platform and the options we knew about were going to make the install complicated. Scott pointed us to a ZZ-2 solution we did not even know existed — it was the right fit for the vehicle and it saved us hours on the install. That kind of product knowledge is what separates a real rep from someone just working a territory."
"Tuning used to be the part of every DSP job we dreaded. It took too long, customers would get restless, and we were never confident we were getting the most out of the system. Scott introduced us to the BARNIE head tuning process — a structured approach that gets you to a great result faster by working through the system in the right order. Customer approval went up and our tuning time came down significantly. It changed how we sell DSP because now we can actually promise the customer a fast, professional result."
